Nearly three decades of support from Money for Madagascar has seen this centre grow from modest beginnings to become one of Madagascar\u2019s leading centres.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"metaslider-id-328\" style=\"width: 100%; for alternative technologies and sustainable living.<\/h4>\n<h4>Money for Madagascar contributes significantly to the running costs of the centre and has fundraised for a number of one-off projects aimed at improving standards of education, health, hygiene and childcare.\u00a0 By committing to providing long-term support we have enabled Akany Avoko to grow into the vibrant, loving community that it is today.<\/h4>\n<h4>Children &amp; young people receive: food, healthcare accommodation, clothing, education, vocational training, leisure activities, emotional, psychological and spiritual nurturing, practical life skills, education in conservation, organic food production and sustainable technologies and eventually support with re-entry back into family \/ society.<\/h4>\n<h4>Each year:<\/h4>\n<h4>\u2022 over 130 children aged 0-18 receive residential care.<\/h4>\n<h4>\u2022 more than 20 children &amp;
