More than 150 youngsters and their teachers are benefitting from new technology which will help their learning and teaching, thanks to Money for Madagascar and partners.<\/h4>\n

Four primary schools, and specifically 126 children and 27 teachers, have received tablets, headphones, speakers, projectors, routers and Raspberry Pis, through a digital learning project funded by the Aeonian Foundation, in partnership with MfM and the Solar United Madagascar consortium.<\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The project is designed to improve education quality and outcomes for pupils with equipment adapted to the needs and experience of rural schools.<\/h4>\n

The project\u2019s official launch took place at EPP Igararana (in CISCO Miarinarivo, Itasy, working in partnership with AVM), EPP Kianjanarivo (CISCO Arivonimamo, Itasy, in partnership with AMI), EPP Mandalotsimaka (CISCO Avaradrano, Analamanga, in partnership with WtdM) and EPC Ampananina (CISCO Ambohidratrimo, Analamanga, in partnership with the NGO Ankizy Gasy), from 7th<\/sup> to 10th<\/sup> October 2025.<\/h4>\n

Each event was attended by the children and teachers, as well as parents, fokontany chiefs, the regional director of the Itasy branch of the National Education association, Itasy, the CISCO chiefs of Miariharivo and Avaradrano, the mayor of Arivonimamo II, and representatives of the DREN, CISCO and Communes for Ampananina, MfM partners and teams, while SUM representatives officially distributed the equipment.<\/h4>\n

Teachers at all four schools, and the pupils at Kianjanarivo and Ampananina were trained in the electronic equipment\u2019s use, and all four schools are also now using safe, reliable and sustainable power from solar technology, installed by JIROVE, another partner in the SUM consortium.<\/h4>\n

One use of this clean energy is to charge power banks, equipped with lamps, which are rented at affordable price to families so children can study at home in the evening.<\/h4>\n

\"\"The money pays for the technology\u2019s upkeep, including a wage for a technician, who ensures the power banks\u2019 management, delivery to and collection from the families.<\/h4>\n

These initiatives are sustainably transforming pupils\u2019 and teachers\u2019 the daily school life in Money for Madagascar’s partner schools.<\/h4>\n

\"\"Telina Raharilalaina, Director of EPP Igararana, said: \u2018We are delighted to receive this equipment, as it is a great help to us in our work. It facilitates the preparation of lessons and teaching, as we have seen during our trainings. <\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

\u2018Previously, we had to search for a lot of documents, draw, use kraft paper and various visual aids. It was a lot of preparation work, and we didn\u2019t have a lot of time. <\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

\u2018Now, all of this is available on the tablet via Raspberry; We don’t have to look far anymore and can use it immediately. We are delighted with this gift, which significantly lightens our teaching work and improves the way we deliver lessons to students. We promise to do our best to further improve our results.<\/span><\/em>\u2019<\/h4>\n

*EPP Igararana and EPP Mandalotsimaka : Teachers received tablets, a speaker, a rechargeable video projector, a router and a Raspberry Pi containing many audiovisual educational resources and digital documents to facilitate the preparation and conduct of lessons. <\/em><\/p>\n

Six teachers have benefited from these digital materials at the level of the EPP Igararana and seven for Mandalotsimaka. <\/em><\/p>\n

EPP Kianjanarivo: The school benefited from 50 OneTab tablets, designed by OneBillion, allowing students to learn mathematics, reading and writing and French in a fun and interactive way. Teachers were also provided with the same equipment as previous schools to strengthen their teaching practices.<\/em><\/p>\n

Seven teachers and 60 students from the 9th, 8th and 7th grades of the EPP kianjanarivo benefited from these materials.<\/em><\/p>\n

EPC Ampananina: The school was equipped with 57 OneTab tablets, two tablets for teachers, as well as a speaker, a router, a rechargeable video projector and a Raspberry Pi. <\/em><\/p>\n
