Theresa Haine and Hilary Bradt will be walking the length of Hadrian\u2019s Wall (84miles) at the end of June\/early July to celebrate Theresa’s 80th Birthday. Why not join them for parts of, or the entire journey. Alternatively, you may just want to sponsor them in aid of Money for Madagascar.<\/h4>\n

Theresa would love to have some more octogenarians on all or part of the walk as it will be brilliant for publicity! Vindolanda, a mile south from Once Brewed is a wonderful place to visit so how about an \u201coctogenarian weekend\u201d on 29th\/30th June? Of course, adults and children of any age will be more than welcome to join Theresa and Hilary.<\/h4>\n

The best patch, as far as seeing the wall and museums etc. is between Chollerford and Birdoswald which is just past Gilsland. If you want to stay or camp overnight it is strongly recommended to book early. The book \u201cHadrian\u2019s Wall Path\u201d published by Trailblazer is invaluable for information on where to stay and what to see.<\/h4>\n

Accommodation is limited so you will need to be quick and book if you want to join them. Please book your accommodation direct with the Hotels and B&B’s that are in the itinerary’<\/h4>\n
