We had a wonderful day on Saturday 25th<\/sup> June for our Cross Bay Walk.\u00a0 130 walkers for Money for Madagascar along with others walking for different charities headed out from Arnside at 3:20pm led safely across the bay by guides from Guide Over Sands.<\/h5>\n

There were a few spots of rain at the start but the weather soon cleared and we watched several dark clouds sweep past us during the walk which produced some dramatic cloudscapes. The views towards the Lake District fells to the north and out towards the Irish Sea were stunning.<\/h5>\n
The walk included wading through a channel but the water wasn\u2019t cold.\u00a0 Then we all had a break on the sand in the sunshine before heading towards Grange.<\/h5>\n

There was a friendly, happy atmosphere amongst the whole group and we would like to thank everyone who joined us to help raise funds.\u00a0 We think that a conspiracy of 7 or 8 lemurs also made it across the bay!<\/h5>\n
