Big Give, Tuesday 2nd to Tuesday 9th of December 2025: Thank you for everything!<\/strong><\/h4>\n

From Tuesday 2nd to Tuesday 9th December 2025, we ran our most ambitious Big Give campaign ever, with a target of raising \u00a3100,000 for Malagasy children and their communities.<\/h4>\n

Madagascar is a country of spectacular beauty.<\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The world\u2019s fourth-largest island, it contains five per cent of all the world\u2019s species of animals and plants, of which 90 per cent are found only here.<\/h4>\n

But it and its people face serious challenges.<\/h4>\n

Madagascar is the world\u2019s fourth-poorest country<\/b>, and 90 per cent of Malagasy people are living on or below the international poverty baseline: \u00a32.22 per day<\/b>.<\/h4>\n

This has serious impacts. 1.32 million Malagasy people are in a situation of severe food insecurity \u2013 the next level is famine.<\/b><\/h4>\n

Most have too little food for themselves and their families, and almost all have experienced going to bed hungry.<\/h4>\n

For children, the outcomes of this poverty are catastrophic:<\/h4>\n
