Nearly three decades of support from Money for Madagascar has seen this centre grow from modest beginnings to become one of Madagascar\u2019s leading centres.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"metaslider-id-328\" style=\"width: 100%; They have been rescued from desperate or dangerous backgrounds, and are cared fore in a loving, secure environment, and receiving nutritious food and an education. In addition to providing a model of childcare for other centres, Akany Avoko is a &#8216;Demonstration Centre&#8217; for alternative technologies and sustainable living.<\/h4>\n<h4>Money for Madagascar contributes significantly to the running costs of the centre and has fundraised for several one-off projects aimed at improving standards of education, health, hygiene and childcare.
