(English) Sad news from the AAA-B Centre family

Miala tsiny fa tsy mbola misy amin’ny teny malagasy ity lahatsoratra ity.

We all at Money for Madagascar extend our condolences to the entire family of Bebe Ravao, a distinguished, dedicated and loved member of the AAA-B children’s centres, who died aged 59, on Sunday 8 June.

She was an extraordinary educator and carer who changed the lives of hundreds of children and young people.

Bebe Ravao, full name Helisoa Ravaonirina, worked with children and young people at the AAA-B centres for 18 years, joining the AAA centre in 2007, and moving to AAB in 2021.

Bebe was a very dedicated educator, and through her wholehearted work she became more than ‘just’ a teacher to the children of the AAA-B centre; she could be called a mother to them.

She leaves behind three children and four grandchildren, in addition to the hundreds of children she raised at the centre.

Bebe Ravao passed away in the place where she worked, a testament to her commitment and fidelity to her vocation until her last breath. Her tenderness and kindness leave a huge void in the community.

We extend our sincere condolences to her entire family, to all the children, to all her loved ones, as well as to the entire team at the AAA-B center. May our Almighty God erase all our sorrows. Rest in peace.
