SOGS is a day centre in the capital Antananarivo helping vulnerable and homeless children to recover their health and dignity and to re-enter mainstream education and society. Helping over 150 children aged 5-18 to access education, vocational training and address problems associated with homelessness, alcoholism, drug addiction, lack of paperwork and unemployment.
Centre FIHAVANANA (SOGS) supports over 150 children aged 5-18.
It supports them with:

Pre-school classes, literacy & numeracy classes, catch-up classes to help children get into mainstream education.

Vocational training for teenaged girls, family planning lessons, preparation for girls starting up an independent business.

Family meetings to address problems of homelessness, alcoholism, drug addiction, lack of paperwork and unemployment.

Follow-up & sponsorship of children entering mainstream education

Health checks & treatment by doctor and dentist.

Meals twice a day

Follow-up of teenaged girls after graduation.
