Recent Fundraising Events

Why not get some inspiration from recent MfM fundraising events?

  • Theresa’s Birthday Challenge – An octogenarian walk along Hadrian’s Wall which raised over £7,000

  • On World Lemur Day, MfM launched it’s big Lemur Bounce Event, calling on as many schools as possible to raise money for reforestation, whilst having a lot of fun. Leading the way were Quernmore Primary School, Eldon Primary School and The Lakeland Wildlife Oasis who all hosted Lemur Bounce Events, raising both funds and awareness about the urgent need for reforestation in Madagascar. Currently one school in Bristol, at least one in Lancaster and several schools in Wales are planning to spring for MfM in the spring. -Next up is World Rain-forest Day in June. Could your school be a ‘rain-forest hero’ by holding a lemur bounce this year?  A Lemur Bounce resource pack, full of videos and exciting ideas and activities, is available in the Resources Area of the website or on the Lemur Bounce Page.
